All I can say is we have been soooo unbelievably busy.. Jeremy's been working 6- 10's, I've been busy with rentals and my Thirty One business and life just seems to be racing by...i've had good intentions of blogging, but haven't had the time.. so I'm in Hawaii, have extra help with Connor so i'm finally catching up on October...now that it's November!
We went to Prineville Oregon to see Jeremy's family and so Jeremy could hunt. Nicole and Connor stayed with Grammie Condron at her new house.. Connor is officially the first baby to stay at her house! COOL :-) We had a nice weekend-except that we were all miserably sick and Jeremy didn't even see any deer. It was great to see the family ( many of them hadn't seen Connor yet, so that was exciting)
This owl has been hanging out in Jeremy's Aunt Golda's barn.. it didn't seem to mind us checking it out :-) Amazing just how large they are when you see them this close....
Connor and his second cousin Ronan meeting for the first time
Grammie playing with Connor while he looked out the window at the birds.... he was giggling so hard here! :-) Grammie said of all her kids, grand kids and great grandkids, she's never heard a baby grunt like Connor does! :-) ha ha I guess every baby is known for something!
Jeremy's cousin Kathy with Connor all bundled up at Rhet and Deans football game
Connor did good for the first half of the game, then started to get fussy.. He was tired! I got him to sleep and he didn't wake up until we got him home.. not even when Rhet and Dean held him after the game :-) football players holding a future one!
Jeremy's cousin Angela and her baby Teagan were in Prineville the same weekend.. so it was SOO awesome to hang out with them. Teagan and Connor are only 5 days apart in age... Last time we saw them the babies were about the same size... not anymore...
They had so much fun playing together! mostly reaching for each others faces and toys..they kept each other entertained for a while at least!
New mommies and their babies! :-)
Not long after we got home from Prineville, Jeremy's mom called and said that her one dog wasn't doing well and she thought it was time to have her put down, so we went to her house to say goodbye and Jeremy went with her to the vet.
Nikki was always known for her piano playing trick, so we had her play one last song for us! We sure will miss this ol' girl! She's been a great dog..
Final ride... She had a long life.. she was about 12 years old!
Nancy with Nikki, She sure will miss having her around
Connor hanging out in the Kitchen sink while I did dishes and made dinner.... :-) this idea is thanks to Grandma Nancy.... it gave me about an hour to work hands free.. he loved it :-)
Even with our crazy schedule.. we were able to find a few days to have the workers stay with us. We took them to the Dam for a tour.. this was also Connors first time seeing where daddy works!
Mark, Scott and Jeremy looking into the unit that they have opened up right now...
The view from above
Connor was enjoying all of the lights and cool scenery!
Jeremy explaining and showing how the parts work!
Operating room....
Coolest part of the tour.. riding the carts~! Scott loved it.. he looked like a kid in a candy store ;-) Connor thought it was pretty cool too!
Bummer that Jeremy's eyes are closed.. but this was the only one we took.. so it works :-)
The guys on their cart at the end of the tour! It was so nice to have them stay with us.. hopefully when our schedules calm down a little we'll get to have them again!
I was about 2 weeks late getting Connors 7 month pictures done this month.. but here they are!
Connor weighs 23.4 lbs, wearing 18 mo clothes and size 4 diapers.... Got his first tooth!! on the bottom, and I think #2 isn't far behind...he just started pushing up onto his hands and feet.. prefers his feet to his knees :-) I would guess he'll be crawling by 9 months... He is "talking" all the time. Waves at people once in a while.....Loves food, especially the kind he can feed himself with his fingers! :-) Still loves dogs and water! Is very tickilish...
Connor and I are in Hawaii for a wedding and Jeremy is in Oregon hunting elk this week.... i'll post again soon ! Aloha!!
