Ready Set Go!!

Again.. I'm behind on blogging! life just seems to keep running away from us, and Connor seems to keep growing (even though we ask him to just stop growing.. he's already not listening to us :-) We've been busy working and playing! Here's what we've been up to the past month! I titled this blog Ready Set Go because Connor loves to play that game with everything, and is even saying it (his own verison at least: "dedy de GO!" Its' adorable! :-)

EASTER

We didnt' do a whole lot: no egg hunts or anything cool like that, but The Easter Bunny did decide to bring Connor a  battery opperated 4-wheeler..which he LOVES.. he likes to have it go  but only when we are behind him pushing the button, the few times he's accidently pushed the go button it has freaked him out! With time, i'm sure he'll be running into walls and chasing dogs all on his own :-)

CLIMBING

Connor recently discovered his ability to climb.. and now he is doing it everywhere on everything... I am imagining hospital visits in the future!! He's been a "daredevil" since birth.. and he's just keeping up the reputation :-)

Yeah.. Not encouraging this one, in fact he's not allowed to anymore as dishwashers aren't cheap.. but I had to get a photo for evidence :-)

OUTSIDE

We are so glad the weather has been so nice and we've been able to spend so much time outside. We are working hard to get our yard looking ReSale Ready.. as we plan to list it very soon. So we have been speinding a great deal of time outside.. which Connor doesn't mind.. in fact he throw a fit when it's time to go inside (oh yeah.. he's throwing fits now....... ) Here are a few fun picts of us outside the past month:

Went to Grandma Nancy's for lunchone Sunday, and she showed COnnor his new slide she bought him.. he loves it, still has to be placed there, but is able to push himself down

Riding on Grandma Nancy's riding mower, its' just like ours, and Connor gets to help mom at home, but can't get picture because of nobody being home to take it.

Loves to "drive" the car and truck! Here we were at the rental doing some yard work and needed to keep him occupied, and this did the trick :-)

Taking a snack break from yard work.. I LOVE how Connor is copying Dad! He loves to eat peeled apples.. whole.. and he usually eats about half of the apple in a snack setting :-)

Helping Dad drive.. not exactly legal.. but it was in our pasture:-) so we figured it wasn't to big of a deal....

SOCIALIZATION

We've been very social lately :-) Which has been nice for all of us! Here are a few pictures of us being social...

Connor and I went north to Canada with my friend Tawn and her girls to go to the Osoyoos Community center "tot drop" play time... They had a great time and it was a nice little break for us mommies (we were there too.. but the kids were very entertained)

Tawn works in Omak so one day she brought the girls by and we watched them for the morning.. hey LOVE "baby Connor", this photo shows that!

I still work at the local childrens store a few days a week, which is great socialization for Connor.. and ME ;-) He LOVES this shpping cart and maneuvers it around with ease now! watch him shop in this video:

Braden was in Omak for the home show so he and his assistant came over for dinner, we were up watching funny vides on You Tube and Connor got really relaxed and this is what he did next..... :-) SOOo adorable..

We went to the home show... and of course this was Connors favorite part!

After meeting Sunday, the older kids wanted to play with Connor, they walked him all over the paring lot and he was as content as can be....

Connor is picking up on sign language extrememly quickly and well.. here is him signing his favorite thing: car... when him and Jeremy were reading before bed...I love how much excitement there is in it...I guess its a fast... racecar :-)
