Look-A-Like??
I have been asked time and time again "who does Connor look most like?" I really do think the answer to that is a perfect mix of both sides of the family...but when was going through a few pictures when I was home a while back to compare Connors pictures to mine I came across this one.... I have to say that looking at these pictures.. He definately has my smile and face shape :-)

July was filled with a lot of playing for us, we planned it that way because we knew that August was going to be work work work...
The 4th of July week/weekend
Grandma Nancy came over for a BBQ Wednesday afternoon, she played with Connor so we could get some yardwork done :-) Beemer and Connor are driving the car in this picture :-) Connor thought it was hilarious having her on his lap, she didn't agree :-) but she was a good sport about it..
After meeting our friends Greg and Lisa invited us up for some dessert and a firework show put on by their young kids ;-) it was a beautiful evening, and a great introduction to fireworks for Connor.
Connor and Dad watching a smoker
Connor with the fireworks the kids would be setting off
Devin and Chase.. master firework tech's
watching one go up!
The smoke is a little distracting, but we were doing a sparkler :-)
On our way home Nancy called and said we should drive to town and see the community firework show. This is the first year Omak City arranged it.. being so close the reservation, basically everyone has access to and uses the big "illegal" fireworks, so there are usually several fires spread all over the county.. Well to prevent that, the city decided the best solution was to just put them all in one area, so they said "Bring your own fireworks, find a spot in East Side Park (where the Stampede arena is..) and have fun :-)... It was AMAZING! imagine the finale of a firework show going on for several hours.. it was crazy :-) I have a feeling it will become a big event for Omak.... vendors, canival etc.. the works because the firework show it worth dealing with the crowd.. or just sitting up on the hill like we did for most of it was great too :-)
Friday the 6th Jeremy's cousin Angela and David her hubby and Teagan their daughther were driving through Omak to go to Canada, so Nancy had us to her house for breakfast before they left. This picture is priceless of Teagan in the pasenger seat on the cell phone and Connor in the driver seat..
We spent the day Saturday in the Waconda area with Jermey's good friend BJ and his girlfriend Megan and her kids Arlen and Jamie who are fraternal twins.. 1 year and a few days older than Connor.. He had a blast with them, and we had a good old country fun time :-)
I wanted to test out good old Johnny Deer... fit all 3 of the kids.. they all looked so much alike and so similar in size, it would be easy to mistake them for triplets :-)
We (BJ, Jeremy, Me and the kiddos) drove around the property and took care of a ground squirel problem :-) I ended up being the pillow for all three kids to take their nap on while the guys had target practice!! I was covered in drool, but I didn't mind, they were all exhausted!
BJ let Jeremy fire up and test out one of their new dozers.. Jeremy enjoyed himself :-)
The kids woke up while the guys were on the tractor, so they watched in sleepy awe the tractor heading out direction :-)
Does this photo surprise anyone? It shouldn't Connor is obsessed with anything that goes.. "That boy loves Wheels and Wings" as Grandpa Kevin says :-)
He even got to sit on Daddy's lap in the tractor for a little bit :-) He is either hamming it up for the photo or playing shy in this picture :-)
Jamie was sweet enough to let Connor have the chair, and she sat on a wobbly cooler :-)
We had a delicious dinner had a bonfire, then called it a night!
GOATS
Last Fall we sold our 6 goats to a gal who was going to use the males for packing and the females to try to breed so she could start getting milk to make cheese, part of the agreement when we sold them was that if any of our females took, we would get a couple kids off of them in the Spring.. well they did and so now we have 2 little weathered boer goats :-) Connor thinks they are pretty cool:
they don't have names yet.. but here they are one is naturally dehorned, the other looks like he will have a little bit deformed horns.. :-) They are both super cute :-)
Connor with the baby goats... they are really calm once you get them laying down :-)
Connor was all over them, laying on them, crawling on em, hugging.. it's pretty cute to see how much he likes them!
LOVE this picture of Connor and Daddy going to do the chores one evening! Connor is such a good little helper :-)
Chelan Draggoo Family Weekend
We went with the Draggoo side of the family to Chelan for a long weekend get away.. We had a nice time, the place we stayed was BEAUTIFUL... and perfect for Connor!
The view from the hot tub at sunset!
There was a "poker run" going on when we wer ethere and the owners of the house we rented actually were in charge of it, so we went down to their boat house and watched at 68 boats came rushing in to pick up their first set of poker cards before they headed up the lake for their next card.. It was quite the deal, as you can see by helicopter! Connor was absolutely in awe of all the excitement :-)
Watching the boats at the boat house...
a few of the many boats who participated in the Poker Run.. a charitable event we were told!
Connor in his car.. with the veiew we had one direction :-)
Connor and Gma Nancy swimming
ICE... has become a new favorite.. Clayton scored points with both Teagan and Connor by feeding them ice!
wrestling with daddy!

Denver Colorado: 5 year Anniversary trip
As a fathers day/anniversary gift I planned a getaway to Denver.. Because we were able to save money by staying with family and borrowing a car, as well as using airline miles to get there, I splurged and got us extremely good seats for the Brothers of the Sun Concert.. Tim McGraw and Kenney Chesney! It was an amazing concert.. and we were literally 5 people (standing not sitting) away from the stage! We also had a great time with my Aunt, Uncle and cousins.. We stayed an extra night as they invited us to go to Brekinridge with them.. It was agreat weekend.. Only bummer is my camera died on the plane on the way there ( I didn't take the charger) and my phone died at the concert.. so I didn't get near the pictures I would have liked to.. But these give an idea..
Dad and COnnor on the plane
Mom and Connor n the plane
We went to a shopping center that had an outdoor fountain.. Connor wasn't totally sure about it, but he liked watching the other kids play!

We toured the conservation area where my Uncle Kelly works and my cousin Kayla is doing an internship/summer job.. There were an incredible amount of LARGE bucks that Jeremy was pretty excited about :-) and the visitors center was fun for Connor
Thanks for the tour and the stuffed Bison toy Kayla!!
This shows how close we were to the stage!! It was a long time to be on our feet though.. Jake Owen opened and sang for an hour, then Grace Potter and the Nocturnals opened and sang for an hour, then Tim McGraw came out and sang for 2 hours, then Kenny Chesney sang 2 hours, then they sang a few songs together! It was LONG,... But TOTALLY worth it :-)
Tim McGraw... We've seen him in concert before.. but it was nothing like this.. being this close was a sureal experience!
Happy 5th Anniversary!!! :-) and thanks to Kelly, Bonnie, Kayla, and Kelsey for watching Connor so we could have an evening just the 2 of us!
Thanks to Kayla for taking a few photos when we were at Brekinridge... This is my favorite family photo lately :-)
We took the Gondola up.. they had great activities to do with kids.. but all were geared to older kids.. so we basically rode it up and went back.. but the scenery was phenomenal!
Connor thought the Gondola ride was pretty cool!
With mom.. he was staring at the other cars going by
