Our October has been busy, as usual, but it's been lots of fun. I didn't think I had that many photos to add, until I started uploading them, enjoy a" little" preview of our October:
AROUND THE WORLD BIRTHDAY PARTY FOR LISA
Connor and I dressed up as Norwegians for our friend Lisa's 30th birthday theme party..
Connor playing with Lizzy at the party :-) He found the only cars in the house!
BUBBLES
We went to the Pearsons for lunch Sunday as Geoff, Jocelyn and Aislyn were in town, It was a great lunch, and the kiddos had a fun time together, especially when Barb brought out the bubbles :-)
Connor was VERY excited about chasing bubbles around, and these aren't your everyday bubbles, they are GIANT
Connor hoping to touch it..
Connor and Aislyn chasing a big bubble
The look on Barbs face is priceless :-) The bubble popped right over connor! He luckily wasn't looking up so it didn't get in his eyes, and the stickyness didn't slow him down one bit!
Running as fast as he could to catch one..
They had so much fun together, as you can see :-)
He was very thoughtful as he was placing the stickers on :-)
Then we painted them!
Again, putting a lot of thought into every stroke!
The beautiful finished product :-)
And we carved a pumpkin.. he was only interested for about 2 minutes, then he went back to playing cars..
He wasn't very impressed!

Connor and Aislyn are only a few days apart in age, but looking at this photo, you wouldn't know it, Connor looks HUGE!
PUMPKINS
It wouldn't be fall with out pumpkins :-)
We put foam stickers on them first
He was very thoughtful as he was placing the stickers on :-)
Then we painted them!
Again, putting a lot of thought into every stroke!

He did like the finished product though :-)
PLAYTIME...
We watched Gwyn and Lydia while Tawn worked one day and the highlight of the afternoon, was our big walk to the construction site :-)
They all took turns in the car...
Even Gywn tucked her knees up so she could drive :-)
We've had a lot of rain, and unfortunately we don't have a roof on the house yet, while we are a little nervous about it, the kids LOVED getting to splash in the puddles in the kitchen and living room...
The especially liked the "pond" on the garage concrete.. I DIDN't like the fact that a very expensive beam was resting in the water, but they got it up the next day and everything was fine :-)
VISITORS....
Grandpa and Grandma Yagues came to visit, and Connor LOVED that granpda would sit and play... as much as he wanted! :-)
They were the best of buds all weekend :-)
Connor wearing Grandpas glasses.... It was hilarious watching him try to walk around :-)
Connors new favorite "toy" or activity is to play with dried beans..... he literally wakes up looking for where I hid the "beans" :-) They are a mess, but they keep him so entertained, I don't mind the cleanup.. Here him and grandpa are making roads for his cars..
Connor and Grandma in his fancy new outfit she brought :-) He's growing up TOO fast!
HALLOWEEN...
Connor surprisingly enjoyed getting dressed up and saying "tic te" and "tutdow!" :-) it was fun.. we "tick or treated" three houses... if we would have done a few more he would have been a pro! I got a few pictures of him and the dogs in the studio before we went out... I was very pleased with how they turned out :-)
Such a stud!
Holding his candy bucket, ready to go!
Daisy was his cheerleeader :-) This picture captuers how good of buddies they are these days :-)
Duke was the Referee and Daisy the Cheerleader :-) I was amazed that I got a decent photo with 2 dogs and an active toddler :-)
Connor at almost 20 months old
This was exactly one year ago.... look how small he was! He was almost 8 months old last Halloween..
I had left the lid off of the face paint, and he got it on his face before I could stop him.. I actually think it looked good... like it might after a hard game :-)
Big boy... looks extra tough with the "muddy" face :-)

hmmm... he didn't understand the "take one"... concept .. He just kept adding to his bucket until we took them away :-)
Dad helping hold the door at Grandma Nancy's open for him... Daisy was even excited here, she knows grandmas house :-)
MORE candy :-) Thanks Grandma! (says mom...... yumm)
Mom and Connor... I dressed up as his "biggest fan"
Football family! :-)
Playing with cars after a long wet evening of trick or treating.....well not really, but it was a long day non the less!
HOUSE PROGRESS...
Of course I went over this evening without my camera, and lots more has been completed, but this was as of yesterday :-)
We've had rain... lots of rain... they "tarped" it, but it ended up leaking in several places and didn't exactly do any good.... O welll, I ended up putting a trash can under this "bubble" and poking a hole to drain it, then dumped the trash can outside.... This area it the "open to below" area that is over our fireplace, living room and breakfast nook
Wee have the floor on for the second floor!
stairs!!! :-) The door to our master is seen to the right of the stairs..
The window that will be over the kitchen sink...
about to start framing the second floor..
Second floor framing... :-) the Open to below area is shown here, then the three bedrooms will be in the far back corner, the big window on the right is the one that will be the playroom.
This is one of the bedrooms upstairs..
Connor loved the puddles again :-)
Upstaris framing is started... it makes the house look so big!
The view of the backside of the house, the center area that isn't framed is a little more complex because of it being the "open to below" area, so they are going to get to that soon :-) The guest room is in the left in this picture and the master bedroom is on the far right, the center will be the deck area with a fireplace and big windows.
Everything is moving along, we just wish our hosue would sell so we could reduce that stress, but if all else fails we will rent it... exciting to see the progress, will be glad with it is dried in, and protected from the weather :-) (by December we hope)..
This video is one of my favorites i've taken of Connor yet.... Enjoy :-)
Until next post!!
