Guns 'n Roses: 2 months old and already going to Hawaii!

Again I am way behind on Blogging... but here is me catching up.. The kids and I snuck off to Hawaii the first week of March to meet up with my Mom and Dad, Brother and his girlfriend, and our good friends the Grants: Lori and her two boys and their wives.. It was a TON of fun and I survived the travels with just me and the kids! The only hiccup was I ALMOST left my phone in the car on the way there.. was able to chase Suzanne (who gave me a ride to the airport).. and caught her just as she was pulling out of the parking spot in the parking garage! WHHEEW close one :-) other than that it all went GREAT.. wish Jeremy could have gone, it would have been even better.... but I understand his wanting to save leave time for Hunting.. (well I don't personally understand that.. but I understand my husband so I get his decision :-) Had a great time staying with Suzanne before we left, and a great time in the Maui! Nessa wasn't happy this time, but had to show the girls' matching ...

I took the carseat through security so that if there were any extra seats on the flight we could have it.... AMAZING trick.. worked both ways! and SOO glad I had it, especially going over as it was the bumpiest flight I've ever been on.. felt much safer having her in this rather than on my lap! Plus it kept my hands free to play with Connor...

ALOHA!! We made it...Happy campers.. Connor travels so well! and Vanessa mostly slept! I got some great ideas from pintrest to keep him entertained, and they worked AWESOME!

Nessa turned 2 months old while we were there..she wasn't too fond of the sand... or cold water on her toes for that matter!

Cant believe he is 3!! and that this is his 3rd time to Hawaii! spoiled.....

They went for a drive...they look happy here.. because it was BEFORE they went out...

but it was horrible! murky water.. rough.. they all came back with wounds from being rolled into coral!! o well it was worth a try...

so instead they used their rented gear in the pool!! Brian wanted to teach Brianna how to use the equipment...

While they dove we went to the beach... it was windy and Nessa didn't lie the heat! (picky already!)

but we rigged this up and she finally slept..

Mom and I... we saw so many whales while we were here! Glad Connor had opened his birthday present from Nana and Papa... "umigoggles" (AKA binoculars :-)

The house se stayed at was literally at the end of the runway of the Maui airport.. it was kind of annoying to have planes flying over all day, but Connor loved it.. Brian, Brianna and the kids and I walked to the see them up close....basically standing outside the security gated area, directly in front of the runway...

you can see the control tower through the fence slats.. that's the tower Brian did his air traffic control internship, and where he hopes to get hired.
