Connor is still under the weather ;-( he has a runny nose and cough... I am hoping that he gets over it soon because him and I are flying to Boise on Saturday to visit Mom and Dad and also so Connor can meet his great grandparents and a bunch of my good friends. Flying with a sick baby won't be fun, at least it is only a 45 minute flight! I will be staying home for 6 days, so Jeremy couldn't come this time :-( which means I'll be "flying solo".. which is a little scary! To prepare, Connor and I have been practicing with all sorts of baby carriers/slings. And the winner so far is....... The Baby K'Tan.. Here's him and I practicing :-)
Wish us luck flying for the first time!!!
One thing that was important to me was that Jeremy be able to feed Connor once in a while (for the bonding experience that feeding a baby offers.. and also to give me a break) I wanted to wait until breastfeeding was well established before we introduced the bottle, when he was about 5 weeks old, I pumped and we gave it a go....
Connor trying a bottle for the first time... he loved it! Probably because its less work :-) Jeremy loves being able to feed him, he said "hes so content, peaceful and alert when he's eating!" very cool!! :-)
Connor is growing extremely fast.. I look back at pictures from only a month ago.. he's a completely different baby! He's a "big boy" and big boys wear shoes....(ok a stretch i admit.. its the only thing I could think of for a fun title...just go with it) These are still a little bit big.. but I couldn't help myself... they are so cute!!

Connors first shoes.. from Grandma Shelly..aka the shoe freak!
One way I can tell Connor is growing is by his car seat... 1- because carrying it in and out and in and out and in and out... of stores is becomming more difficult (i'll have great biceps!) and 2- just by how he looks.. here are two photos 5 weeks apart in his car seat.

Can't wait to meet him this weekend. I just finished up making him a little something! And for the shoe fan... take a look at Pediped or See Kai Run... LOVE both of them. You can usually get them on sale on their sites or Amazon. My kids are always in one of these brands, so cute and comfy!
