Connor took his very first airplane ride.... where to? Boise of course ;-) to see his Grandma Shelly and Grandpa Kevin and Great Grandma Verleen and Great Grandpa Clancy, as well as LOTS of friends and family! We flew out of Spokane, so Connor also got to see Uncle Brian!
Uncle Brian talking to Connor
Brian has these GIANT bean Bags for furniture.. Connor loved them!
Us on the plane... obviously Connor did well! He only fussed the last 5 minutes of the flight. Maybe that was when his tear duct came loose (something with flying, probabuly the cabin pressure, actually cleared Connors blocked tear duct.. cool :-)
Connor is very lucky (and kind of rare) that he has all 4 great grandparents still alive on my side. My Cable Grandparents (on Nicole's mom's side) live with my parents, so they got to see him as soon as we got to town! This is the first Great Grandchild for them, they were very excited to meet Connor if you can imagine :-)

This makes 4 generations!
My grandma, mom and a couple of her good friends put on a baby shower for Connor and I when we got to town, we got some of the most adorable things!! It's a good thing Mom and Dad are coming to Omak in a month to visit.. NO WAY could I get it all home on the plane :-) Thanks to everyone who came to meet Connor and for all of the thoughtful gifts...
This is one of MANY things Connor got.. this is his summer hat and sunglasses, they match his swimsuit and wet suit type shirt :-) CUTE!!
My parents dog Bentley (well actually "technically" its Brians dog, but when he moved away for school and couldn't take him, mom and dad kind of adopted him) is a major chicken.. he is afraid of everything.. including Connor.. It was all we could do to get him to stay still long enough to get this photo:
The next photo we snaped was blurry because Bentley was escaping.... He warmed up to Connor by the end of the 5 days..
We didn't do a whole lot while we were in Boise, we went shopping of course :-) but mostly just hung around the house..
Connor snuggling with Grandma Shelly
Connor hanging out with Grandpa Kevin in his massage chair.. he was staring at the metallic art on the wall.. He loves anything with lights or that shines :-) (notice in this photo Grandpas hair is still there..)
While we were home, my dad decided he was tired of the way his hair looked (it had gotten pretty bald and was starting to grey)... and he decided that Connor looked cute bald, so he decided to shave his off.. completely off! We all agreed that it looks great... Now he just needs to get a tan on it :-) Here are the baldy boys with their shades on:
I LOVE this picture!
The flight home went great as well, I hung out in Spokane with Brian for a few hours (went to Costco of course) and even got to visit briefly with some of our good friends from Montana who were in town checking out colleges. Connor and I got home around 10 pm and Jeremy was so glad to see him!! He was amazed how much he changed in 5 days~ (Jeremy noticed that he is getting his hair back, how long his eyelashes are and how chunky his legs and cheeks have gotten!)
Connor has started smiling alot, we'll try to get a picture of it soon! Connor is still feeling under the weather.. I took him in again because I am starting to wonder if he has allergies and not a cold (he's been stuffy and sneezing for 4 weeks now). They said.. maybe, but unlikely, we'll just hope this goes away soon, it's not fun for any of us. When we were at the clinic, they weighed him.. he's at 14 lb 2 oz.!! This is in the 94th percentile. I measured his height and he's up to 23 1/2 in. Which is in the 85th percentile!! he's going to be a big boy :-)
Well, back to life here in Omak... Will post again soon!
