Connors First Convention

Chelan 2011 marks Connors first convention. We made it to Friday, Sat and Sun. We planned on tenting it, but with Nicole getting home Thursday evening from Spokane, it was just too much to handle this year, so we comuted back and forth (about 1 hr drive). Connor was a champ as usual :-) (although he is starting to dislike the carseat.... urg :-( Sunday was his hardest day, but only because he started to get a cold (Dad gave his cold to Connor and Mom.. bummer :-(

Jeremy's cousin Josh's girlfriend Laura and daughter Nova came to convention, so Connor got to meet his 2nd cousin :-) She was so interested in him!! She loved to kiss him...

A large part of Jer's family (on his mom's side) were at convention.. was so nice to spend time together.. especially with all the babies :-)

Brian's good friend Jessie spent a lot of time with Connor and I at the hospital in Spokane and I realized I never got any pictures of her with Connor in Spokane, so I had to get one here :-)

Uncle Braden hanging out with Connor, He babysat on Saturday for about an hour while Jeremy and I served tea to the workers.. He did good- had lots of "help" from the single girls :-) Babies and Puppies are such "chick magnets"

Aislyn is only 8 days older than Connor... you'd never know it by the size difference.. it was like holding a feather! It was so fun to see my "partner in crime" went through pregnancy together, now we'll go through the stages of parenting together :-)

It was amazing how many kids, especially babies were at convention this year! It was a blast to see everyone and to talk to all of the other new moms and dads... Connor was definately fighting for the chubbiest baby though. I thought it was funny all the different things people called Connor refering to his weight: Chubby, Chunky, Squishy, Fat, Perfectly Plump, Healthy, Chub, Round, Well Fed, Not Starving... you get the point :-) I think our favorite is Squishy..

Had a great convention as usual, it is definately different with a baby, glad there are speakers in the nursery and outside.. Looking forward to many more conventions to come! Parma is the next on the list..
