We got up this morning and things had cleared up enough that we had a beautiful view from the beach on the Homer Spit where we stayed, so we did family photos :-) I hope to have a collection of these on my wall soon :-)
After his bath that morning, I wrapped him in his blankies and put him in the carseat, he fell asleep.... It was so adorable, I had to get a photo :-)
I thought this was ADORABLE! obviously I was more focused on the camera, than on Connor's giggle :-)
SOOO Glad we got a good one.. I wasn't sure how it would be getting him to smile with no person to smile at! (I used my tripod and a remote control to take these)
Got this one when he was sleeping, our trailer is literally 10 yards from us in this photo (not a bad background for a campsite? :-)
It was all we could do to get him to look up at us.. he was so interested in the rocks!
Momma and her boy..
Daddy and his little man....
We left the campground, then headed a mile up the road to the area of the spit where the shops and resturants are. We walked around the spit for a little while, then headed to Homer to explore and get settled into our new campground complete with internet, hot showers, and laundry facilities!...All of which we used :-)
The boat harbor on the spit..
A boat with "homer" on it :-)
The view from the Harbor... not to bad~
A cool sign that had all of the towns and landmarks with distances :-)
FRESH.. DELICIOUS clam chowder :-)
Jeremy loved this bench.. it says "Husbands Waiting Bench"... he and Connor took a load off while I browsed a shop or two...
We got to our campsite and got settled in.. That evening after I got Connor to sleep I went up and had a hot shower.. was going to do laundry, but there was no coin machine, so I had to wait until morning when the office opened. Our plan for tomorrow is to go to a little town called Seldovia, which is only accessible by boat or plane.. but it started raining pretty hard here about the time we pulled into our campsite, so if it's raining when we get up we may just head back north towards the next stop :-) we'll see!
