2011 hunting

Jeremy had 3 hunting trips this year, in Washington, Montana and Oregon.

Jeremy's first hunting trip was in Washington in the Pasayten Wilderness in September. He saw several bucks, but none big enought to want to pack back out 12 miles... here are a few cool photos of the scenery he saw:

home sweet home for a few nights!

rugged country!!

water! :-) beautiful and so green!

the hunter himself.... part of the reason he hunts is the beautiful scenery, seeing so many animals in their natural habitat and just to have just peace and quiet for a few days...  seeing this picture I can't blame him!

Jeremy's second hunting trip overlaped my Hawaii trip was his elk hunt in Oregon with his family. The day Jeremy got his spike Bull, 2 of the other guys got Bulls too... made for a busy day!! Glad to have delicious elk in the freezer!

Just after getting his Bull, he was waiting for the other guys to come pick him up

Jeremy's cousins husband Steve with his Bull

Steves brother Chet with his Bull

All three of them.... Successful day! ;-)

Jeremy's 3rd hunting trip was the week before Thanksgiving in Montana. He hunted then met me and Connor in Boise for some Turkey! He was successful in Montana too. He got a very nice 4x4 Mule Deer Buck. He will be having it done up as a European mount. Needless to say, between the Alaska fishing trip and these hunting trips, our freezer if FULL :-)

Jeremy and Jeremy B- who Jeremy stayed and hunted with in Montana.

All the guys...

A different angle of Jeremy and his buck..

This makes for a successful year of hunting, of course Jeremy is already counting down the days until next season :-) Now off to Boise for some turkey and family time!
