I can't believe it's already been 9 months since Connor was born!! It's going so fast.. He had his 9 month well child check about a week ago.. He is healthy as a horse! weighed 24lb 11 oz and was 29 1/2 in at the apt. He's still in the 98th % for weight 88 % for height and like 96% for head...
He is teething again, so the past few days have been miserable! He didn't really fuss a whole lot with the lower teeth, but these top ones are obviously miserable.. and they are BOTH coming in at once... I can see them just under the skin, so they should be showing their little pearly faces any day now.. We HOPE :-)
He still isn't crawling, I am not too concerned just yet.. but if he waits too much longer, I may start to worry. I am glad to have the Child Deveoplment background to know that he's still far from the "worry" point. He loves to walk though, holding onto our hands still of course :-) He likes standing up to play holding onto furniture etc. Isn't walking around things on his own quite yet, but I'm sure that will come soon. The only concern that I brought up to his doctor, which I believe is contributing to his lack of crawling, is his legs/hips/feet.. they are really pointed out. His doctor seem to think he is just really flexible, and because of his chubby thighs, he has to turn them out. We will hope that is it and just continue to watch him as he develops over the next few months.
As far as talking goes, Connor is soaring! He's said several words: dog, mama & dada (usually still indiscriminate though), book, zzee (Daisy), uk (Duke).. and he jabbers all the time! I have chosen to start using sign language with Connor. He does great with "more" and "all done", which make meal time a breeze! He also understands the sign for milk and yum yums.... :-) He loves to clap his hands, so of course Patty Cake and If your happy and you know it are now some of his favorite songs. He even does the "shout who ray!" part.. using his whole body and mouth, with very little sound coming out ! :-) it's pretty cute...
These are the pictures I got this month of Connor and of us as a family, some of which will be featured on our holiday card....

Connor in his "chair"
He wasn't exactly thrilled with this choice of outfit.... It makes me think of the little boy in The Christmas Story movie.. ha ha Still cute, even if he only lasted a few minutes :-)
Playing in the "snow"
There's a smile :-)
This is something he does ALL the time.. he crosses his legs/ankles.. I think it is adorable, so I had to add this one to his monthly album...
daddy and his boy
another cute one :-) he's holding onto his snow tight!
The family
He's getting so big!~
Until next post.... :-)

Tiana crawled at 10 months and walked at 10.5 months! :) We didn't know if she would crawl since she was so big but she did... for a couple weeks anyways! Keaton was about 10 months crawling also so don't worry yet! He is a cutie and getting SO big!!
