This year we were with Nicole's family for Thanksgiving and we'll be with Jeremy's family for Christmas. Jeremy drove Nicole to the airport on the way to Montana giving Nicole a whole week in Boise. He met us there on Wednesday for Thansgiving, then we drove home together...
Connor playing the drums on the Turkey with Grandma Shelly and Dad.. This was the night dad taught Connor how to take hats off.. he made it a fun game. .now keeping hats on is a challenge.. Thanks DAD :-)
The only year Connor will weigh the same as the Turkey! :-)
We worked on a puzzle during the weekend as a family.. was fun, we are thinking of making it a tradition!
Everyone at the table....
The whole gang! Nicole's mom, dad and brother, her mom's brother and girlfriend, her mom's parents and aunt and uncle
The beautiful table~
YUMMM
Connor loves to eat solid foods now, and is incredible with his fine motor skills of picking up food with his thumb and pointer. Here he is eating his frist thanksgiving meal.. he LOVED the meat (as usual) and the sweet potatoes :-)
Connor at his end of the table.. notice Bentley under him picking up what he dropped!
"Hey wait.. where did everyone go?" Connor of course the last to finish dinner :-)
The following photos are just a bunch of random happenings throughout November.....
Connor still loves bath time! especially now that he can sit up on his own, splash, kick... its one of his favorite parts of the day :-)
Big smiles!
When Nicole was in Spokane her good friendAmanda hosted a thirty one party and her and Nicole went to lunch... This is us and Connor at lunch ;-)
Connor discovered how fun playing a real piano is when we were staying with The Pointers .. This is Miles playing with Connor..
Fall=Leaves... Lots of leaves.. Here is Connor helping Dad rake leaves :-).....
Playing in the leaves!! if it weren't for the gloves, they'd be in the mouth
Connor and his buddy Aislyn (a few days older than Connor) playing Nancy's piano together after meeting Sunday when Geoff and Jocelyn were in town
November was a VERY busy month for us.. we were really only home for about a week and a half.. I'd love to say December will be more relaxed. We won't be traveling as much, but we have 2 turnovers with our rentals, one of which is requiring a FULL remodel... SOOO we won't be just hanging out :-) Connor is still choosing not to crawl.. which is OK with me because it means he still isn't mobile.. and I don't have to fully baby proof quite yet ;-) (we started in November.. lowering crib, fireplace screen... stuff like that). He does like to walk when we are holding his hands... which is fun.. Hope to get caught up on blogging so that I can stay on top of it! That will likely be one of my New Years resolutions!
